To Blog Or Not To Blog
Hi, I'm Jeannie. I wanted to start this blog in order to showcase our gorgeous brides, grooms and the day of their beautiful weddings. This is for our clients to experience and is also to show new clients what kind of experience they have to look forward to. Creating a stronger connection with our clients is what I am most excited about. I want our couples to be able see our past work that is displayed in our portfolio, but also to learn a little bit about Ray and myself. We want you to feel like you have true friends taking care of you on your very special wedding day. Friends that are passionate and truly care about the couples and family they are photographing. We want you to see us as friends who are capturing you in your most beautiful light.
An additional reason to start blogging is to share some of the most beautiful places in Southern California that we have been blessed to visit and photograph. Our couples generally have the venue for their wedding day already determined or simply request recommendations of our personal favorite spots. Having fun doing what we love- photography; has allowed us to shoot weddings at some of the most breathtaking locations like San Diego's Balboa Park, the Ventura Beach Pier, Hornblower Yacht Cruises out of Newport Beach, Mission Beach Woman's Club, La Jolla's Museum of Contemporary Art, and Yosemite National Park. We are flattered just to name a few. Southern California certainly allows for outdoor weddings- all year long. Therefore, we've been wedding photographers for couples from all over the United States and other countries too like Canada, Australia, Mexico. This has made us SoCal hosts to many couples that have planned their wedding in the magnificent Southern California sun is unequaled.
Lastly, building this blog will allow me to improve on my writing skills. Growth is something that we all crave. Writing has always been an interest yet a wordsmith I am not. So this simple platform is my attempt to write about and share my experiences. With the goal of sharing the story of my photography, showing my incredible family, and improve on my story telling- I hope you approve. Maybe a little peak into what seems like (to me anyway) a crazily fun & wild life we live. It will be interesting?!! Maybe... I don't know… but I will let the readers decide. So keep your minds open and your hearts receptive and I will do my best to add content that is thoughtful.
With great love and appreciation,
